AURORA

Aurora was a special choir.

It folded in the Spring of 2018.

Dec. 10, 2017 they performed two selections at the Community Choir concert and joined them in one selection.

Aurora's Jazz Concert "Full Circle" was held

October 28,2016 at the Alliance Church.  

Aurora celebrated their 10th anniversary with a concert on 
APRIL 16, 2016.

The program had old favourites as well as new material.

joining them for their final selection.

Kaitlyn Armstrong, Kathy McKay.

Aurora came to life in the fall of 2006 when a group of musicians came together to discuss the inception of a choral group dedicated to striving for growth and excellence in music.
They have produced several shows including cabarets entitled  JAZZ, A WEE BIT OF SCOTLAND, FOLK FUSION, LIVE-LOVE-LAUGH and AURORA ON BROADWAY.
Other performances include several sacred Easter performances including one written by Martin Snell - 7 DAYS.   Spring 2010 they joined Flin Flon's Borealis chamber group to perform Vivaldi's GLORIA.

Seven singers from The Pas had an opportunity to sing in Carnegie Hall, New York on June 12, 2016.
